AfriPharma Health Systems was founded by a team of pharmaceutical manufacturing professionals with more than 12 years of experience in sterile injectable manufacturing, quality systems, regulatory affairs, and healthcare operations.
The team became increasingly aware of the structural healthcare access challenges facing Southern Africa: fragmented supply chains, insufficient local distribution infrastructure, and near-total dependence on imported medicines.
AfriPharma was created to help solve those challenges — not through aid, but through business. A practical, commercially sustainable platform that improves medicine access today, while building the infrastructure needed for long-term pharmaceutical self-sufficiency across the SADC region.
