Our Purpose

Building Africa's Health
Infrastructure — One Brick at a Time.

"Healthcare access should not be determined by where a person lives."

Across Southern Africa, essential medicines remain difficult to access — due to fragmented supply chains, weak distribution infrastructure, and limited local manufacturing. AfriPharma was founded to address this directly.

Our approach is deliberate: start with distribution, build operational credibility, generate cash flows, and use that foundation to anchor future manufacturing at scale.

The Platform

An integrated healthcare access platform built for Southern Africa — connecting pharmacy services, care coordination, and pharmaceutical distribution.

Manufacturing Anchor
Long-Term Vision

Beyond Distribution.
Toward Pharmaceutical Sovereignty.

AfriPharma's distribution platform is the first chapter. The long-term goal is WHO-aligned sterile injectable manufacturing at scale — strengthening medicine security throughout the SADC region.

ParaFlow™ — Paracetamol IV

AfriPharma's anchor manufacturing product manufactured to EU GMP Annex 1 standards and targeting WHO Prequalification — addressing one of sub-Saharan Africa's most critical medicine gaps.

Manufacturing Anchor

The SADC Region has been identified as the preferred site for AfriPharma's Phase 2 sterile injectable manufacturing facility — strategically positioned for SADC-wide distribution.

Distribution Cash Flows Fund Manufacturing

AfriPharma's distribution operations are structured to generate the commercial track record and cash flows needed to support DFI financing — IFC, AfDB, and DFC — for the manufacturing phase.

WHO Prequalification Pathway

Manufacturing strategy is aligned from inception to WHO Prequalification — enabling access to institutional procurement through UNICEF Supply Division, UNFPA, and national tender programs.

"Access to quality healthcare and medicines should not be determined by where a person lives."

After more than a decade in pharmaceutical manufacturing — across FDA, EMA, and WHO-regulated environments — I became increasingly aware of the structural gaps facing healthcare systems across Africa. Medicines that are widely available elsewhere remain chronically out of reach in the communities that need them most.

AfriPharma was founded to help close that gap. Not through charity, but through business. Practical distribution infrastructure today. Pharmaceutical manufacturing tomorrow. A platform built to last — and built to serve.

Zimbabwe and Botswana are our starting points. The SADC region is our market.
